Ionosit Baseliner for Gap-free restorations

Create gap-free restorations Ionosit Baseliner prevents micro-gaps, the leading cause of microleakage, before they happen. It’s a fact of life that composites undergo polymerization shrinkage.

We rely on adhesives to maintain a strong gap free bond between composite and dentin, but that doesn’t always happen.

Ionosit Baseliner employs patented controlled expansion technology to reduce the post-polymerization stress which leads to leakage, post-op sensitivity and recurrent decay.

Functionality

Ionosit Baseliner combines the optimum properties of glass ionomers and composites in one material. It expands by approximately 1% and counteracts the polymerization shrinkage stress of the shrunken composite. This efficiently prevents the formation of marginal gaps and associated bacterial penetration.

The dentinal tubules are sealed and the pulp is protected from bacterial influences, which is a reliable and permanent means of preventing pulp damage and postoperative sensitivity.

Ionosit Baseliner serves as a stress-breaker for the entire cavity as it counteracts the polymerization shrinkage of the restoration. Structural stress or microfractures in the composite are minimized.

This guarantees durable, functionally reliable restorations.

Protection

Ionosit Baseliner is applied in a layer of 1mm thickness between dentin and composite.

It releases fluoride and zinc ions to provide protection at the junction between the tooth surface and the restoration, a particularly vulnerable area. The release of these substances forms a protective barrier for the tooth.

Ionosit Baseliner can be easily applied directly from the syringe.

Dentin interaction 

Ionosit Baseliner is capable of controlled expansion. Thanks to its innovative chemistry, it also forms a connection to dentin, creating a reaction zone. The crucial advantage: possible gaps created by polymerization shrinkage of the composite material are negated and stress on the dentin interface is reduced.

• Directions
• Prepare and dry the cavity with a small cotton pellet.
• Transfer e-Temp to the cavity using a suitable instrument and form the contour. In the case of occlusal Class I, the patient bites down on the surface, and then form the contour.
• After the patient close the mouth, e-Temp will harden within 25 minutes. Recommend the patient to avoid the strong pressure or abrasion for at least 2 hours.

Dual Wavelength Cordless LED Curing Light D-Lux is a new advanced cordless LED curing light. Made from the highest quality aluminum, D-Lux dissipates heat quickly to prevent overheating problem so that it can produce the maximum light intensity safely and consistently. Its battery pack can easily be replaced. Without taking out the battery from the hand-piece completely, the power can be shut off by using the Power switch. Bioclear’s two-step Rockstar Polish is designed to give your composite restorations a phenomenal finish and shine and is one of the four cornerstones of the Bioclear Method.

 The first step of the Rock Star Polish, the Magic mix pre-polisher, marginates to the infinity edge and creates the perfect matte finish while the second step of the Rock Star Polish, the RS Polishers, leaves a mirror like final finish to the restoration.

Magic Mix Pre-polish Paste and Magic Mix Pre-Polish Cups are single-use only.
RS Polisher Cups are reusable and autoclavable.

Bioclear is pleased to introduce the Black Triangle System, a new matrix system that enables black triangle closure up to 40% faster* than with the original Bioclear matrices.

Black Triangle matrices are custom designed for black triangle treatment and require no trimming prior to seating.

A color-coded gauge and matrices makes choosing the correct curvature for gingival embrasure closure simple and predictable. Curvature is indicated by colors at the top of the matrix and correspond with a gauge that, when inserted into the black triangle, indicates which curvature to use.

The matrices come in two sizes (large incisor and small incisor) and four curvatures allowing you to treat the entire anterior sextant, canine to canine and both upper and lower arches with strong aesthetically pleasing results.

Using paired matrices, curvature (indicated by color) closes spaces up to:

Pink – 1 mm space
Yellow – 1.5 mm space
Green – 2 mm space
Blue – 2.5 mm space

1. Small Incisor BT Matrix Tub: For mandibular incisors and small maxillary lateral incisors
2. Large Incisor BT Matrix Tub: Are taller and wrap the tooth more than the Small Incisor BT Matrices. They should be used for maxillary central Incisors, large maxillary lateral incisors, maxillary and mandibular canines, and maxillary and mandibular bicuspids.

Black Triangle Gauge

The BT Gauge is for use with the new color-coded BT Matrices. The use of the gauge with these color-coded matrices is designed to make black triangle closures simpler and more efficient.

TruContact Saws and Sanders

Contact optimization is an essential part of the Bioclear Method. Natural contacts are generally too tight and too rough to allow insertion of a mylar matrix. Bioclear TruContact Saws and Sanders are designed to work in sequence to lighten the contact which then improves the ease of placement of the mylar matrices. As an additional advantage, the TruContact also removes biofilm from the contact

Dual Color Disclosing Solution

Disclosing solution for discovery of cracks and biofilm for blasting. Newer Biofilm stains pink. Older biofilm & cracks (more than 24 hours) stain purple, aiding the clinician in properly educating patients about oral hygiene & restorative needs.

Cleaning & Sterilization

1. BT Gauges and TrueContact Saws and Sanders are reusable and autoclavable. Wash with soap and water using a soft brush to remove debris
   Note: Do NOT use sprays/wipes, this could damage the BT Gauge.
   2. Sterilize using steam sterilizers only on the regular cycle
   Note: Temperature of sterilizer should NOT exceed 270° F/132° C
