seT PP - Self etching, self adhesive resin luting cement
SDI’s top rated cement
seT is a self etching, self adhesive, resin cement, designed for final cementation of metal, resin, all ceramic and ceramic based restoratives. seT chemically bonds to tooth structure and all types of core material. seT is available in capsules and a paste/paste automix syringe system (seT PP).
Radiopacity: High radiopacity detectable on x-ray radiographs, seT is great for recalls when margins are regularly checked for integrity.
No Bisphenol A or HEMA: seT does not contain any Bisphenol A (including its derivatives) or HEMA. Use this product on your patients with confidence and peace of mind.
Fast and easy: seT is an all in one luting cement. It etches, bonds and fills with just the one component. Simply apply seT and seat your restoration. seT produces a low film thickness and fluidity to seat cemented restorations.
High fluoride release: seT’s free movement of fluoride provides benefits to the tooth. Fluoride plays several significant roles in any caries prevention program. These include the formation of fluorapatite, which is more acid resistant than hydroxyapatite. Fluorapatite is harder than other tooth minerals. It helps to provide protection from tooth decay.
Dual cure: Designed to combine the advantages of light curing and self curing, seT is the ideal luting cement for most of your cementation needs
Minimal to no post- operative sensitivity: seT does not require separate etching and washing. The smear layer remains intact to protect the tooth. This dramatically reduces, if not eliminates, post-operative sensitivity.
Riva luting- Glass Ionomer Luting Cement
- Riva Luting is a conventional, self curing, glass ionomer luting cement designed for final cementation of metal based restorations It chemically bonds to metal substrates and the tooth.
Proprietary
- SDI’s proprietary ion glass™ filler developed by our glass technologists. Ion glass™ is a radiopaque, high ion releasing, reactive glass used in SDI’s range of dental cements. Riva Luting releases substantially higher fluoride to assist with remineralization of the natural dentition
Low Solubility
- Riva Luting has low solubility in the oral environment. This increases the material’s ability to resist disintegration and wear caused by oral acidity.
Setting Time
- Our quick setting property ensures minimal loss of working time.
- Riva Luting significantly shortens chair time and ensures early resistance
High Fluoride Release
- Riva Luting’s free movement of fluoride provides benefits to the tooth. Fluoride plays several significant roles in any caries - prevention program. These include the formation of fluorapatite, which is more acid resistant than hydroxyapatite. Fluorapatite is very important for tooth remineralization.
High Flexural Strength
- High flexural strength enhances longevity of a glass ionomer luting cement by withstanding mastication forces. Riva Luting’s high flexural strength increases its durability in the oral environment and long term ability to retain indirect restorations.
Very low film thickness
- Riva Luting quickly flows into the preparation. A low film thickness (17 microns) allows the seating of tight fitting indirect restorations.
Advantages
2. Very low film thickness – flows easily between restoration and tooth
3. Easy to clean up
4. Low water solubility - increased longevity and aesthetics
5. High bond strengths
6. High fluoride releasing and recharging ability
7. Bioactive proprietary ionglass™ technology – high ion exchange
8. Great for PFM crowns, metal posts, orthodontic bands, implants
9. Light yellow shade
Product Description-
Revolutionary ionglassTM Technology
Riva Cem Automix features SDI’s revolutionary ionglassTM technology. This unique blend of different sized reactive glass particles harnesses ion-release to cross-link polycarboxylic acid chains. This focused ion release gives Riva Cem Automix a clinically higher strength, superior bond and more stable aesthetic properties.
It is a self-curing, radiopaque, fluoride releasing paste/paste resin modified glass-ionomer luting cement. It is indicated for the permanent cementation of metal and ceramic restorations. The automix tip attachment offers convenience over traditional hand mixing.
SUPERIOR BOND STRENGTH
Reliable adhesion to tooth structure is important for long term retention of cement restorations. Riva Cem Automix shows excellent bond strength to enamel and dentine in an external study conducted over a 6- month period.
HIGHEST FLEXURAL STRENGTH
A high flexural strength enhances the longevity of a cement restoration by better withstanding mastication forces. Also increases its durability in the oral environment.
LESS CEMENT WASTE
Riva Cem Automix offers more tips than any other leading cement. Each supplied tip has less waste than other cements, providing you with more material for more patients.
EASY REMOVAL OF EXCESS CEMENT
Riva Cem Automix has a light tack cure option for easy removal of excess cement. Simply light tack cure any excess material for 5 seconds with an LED curing light. Then gently remove excess material. Alternatively, excess material can be removed after the self-curing phase (1 min 30 seconds).
BEST LONG-TERM AESTHETICS
Colour changes within luting materials can clinically affect the aesthetic appearance of a prosthesis. It is important to choose a dental cement which has the least colour change over time. External tests have confirmed that after 6 months of water storage, it has the best-in-class colour stability.
Advantages
1) Superior Bond Strength
2) Light tack cure for easy removal of excess cement
3) Sustained Fluoride release
4) High Flexural Strength
5) Less Waste in Mixing tips
6) Long term Aesthetics
7) BPA free
8) Shade: Light Yellow
Ionosit Baseliner for Gap-free restorations
Create gap-free restorations Ionosit Baseliner prevents micro-gaps, the leading cause of microleakage, before they happen. It’s a fact of life that composites undergo polymerization shrinkage.
We rely on adhesives to maintain a strong gap free bond between composite and dentin, but that doesn’t always happen.
Ionosit Baseliner employs patented controlled expansion technology to reduce the post-polymerization stress which leads to leakage, post-op sensitivity and recurrent decay.
Functionality
Ionosit Baseliner combines the optimum properties of glass ionomers and composites in one material. It expands by approximately 1% and counteracts the polymerization shrinkage stress of the shrunken composite. This efficiently prevents the formation of marginal gaps and associated bacterial penetration.
The dentinal tubules are sealed and the pulp is protected from bacterial influences, which is a reliable and permanent means of preventing pulp damage and postoperative sensitivity.
Ionosit Baseliner serves as a stress-breaker for the entire cavity as it counteracts the polymerization shrinkage of the restoration. Structural stress or microfractures in the composite are minimized.
This guarantees durable, functionally reliable restorations.
Protection
Ionosit Baseliner is applied in a layer of 1mm thickness between dentin and composite.
It releases fluoride and zinc ions to provide protection at the junction between the tooth surface and the restoration, a particularly vulnerable area. The release of these substances forms a protective barrier for the tooth.
Ionosit Baseliner can be easily applied directly from the syringe.
Dentin interaction
Ionosit Baseliner is capable of controlled expansion. Thanks to its innovative chemistry, it also forms a connection to dentin, creating a reaction zone. The crucial advantage: possible gaps created by polymerization shrinkage of the composite material are negated and stress on the dentin interface is reduced.
