Product Description:
DiaFil™ Flow is a versatile flowable composite suitable for minimally invasive restorations, including Class III, V, and shallow Class IV cavities, air abrasion, and tunnel preparations. It can also be used as a base or liner under posterior restorations, for repairing small defects in composite or ceramic restorations, pit and fissure sealing, undercut block out, and temporary acrylic repairs. Its excellent flowability and adaptability ensure precise placement, durable results, and esthetic outcomes.
Flexural Strength: The flexural strength of a material is defined as its ability
to resist deformation and breakage under load. Flexural strength is the value obtained when the material breaks. This test combines the forces found in compression and tension. DiaFil Flow shows a high level of flexural strength
ranging between 100-110 Mpa.
Compressive Strength: Compressive strength is especially important because it
is related to masticating forces. Simultaneous forces are applied to the opposite ends of the sample length vertically until the sample fractures or is deformed. The material failure is a result of shear and tensile forces. DiaFil Flow has a very strong compressive strength ranging between 250-335 Mpa.
Flexural Modulus: Flexural modulus is a method to measure a material’s stiffness. A low modulus indicates the material is highly flexible.
Shrinkage: Polymerization shrinkage directly affects the long-term stability of a composite resin. When the composite’s density changes and the overall volume reduce the internal stress at the margins of restoration can lead to marginal leakage and secondary caries. DiaFil Flow has unique fillers to reduce shrinkage (Polymerization shrinkage 0.5% - 1%).
FEATURES & BENEFITS
- Perfect Adaptation and Handling: with excellent flow and optimal viscosity for convenient and precise placement.
- Versatile Applications due to better mechanical properties
- Excellent Color Adaptability: Available many shades that provide natural esthetics and allow for a high-gloss polish.
- High compressive Strength 250-335 Mpa to take masticatory load.

BioClear Evolve Matrices Mini Kit - Anatomically Pre-shaped Posterior matrices are in three widths
Evolve matrices are an evolution in posterior matrices - an improvement on what was already the most advanced and user-friendly mylar matrix in modern posterior restorations, the BioClear Biofit HD, and the Evolve Matrices Mini Kit have the same benefits and additional features for posterior cases.
The new features of the BioClear Evolve Matrix Mini Kit Series include:
· Three emergence profile shapes that are color-coded on the
· Matrix heights printed on the matrix for quick identification
· Extra-flared quick-release tabs on the buccal and lingual surfaces that are easier to find and use
· Wide array of sizes (heights) available (the blue comes in 5, 6, 7, and 9mm’s, the orange comes in 6mm’s, and the pink comes in 6, 7mm’s)
Blue Evolve:
The Blue Evolve Matrix is colour-coded to be easily seen, features an aggressively rounded emergence profile, and comes in four heights to provide an ideal fit.
The occlusal curvature of the matrix creates a rounded marginal ridge with ease. The size and shape are appropriate for most posterior molar cases.
The Blue Evolve's shape is the most curvaceous of our posterior matrices and requires a unique insertion method.
To place the matrix, rotate it into place from top to bottom. Doing this expands the matrix base so it snaps over the tooth and into place.
Orange Evolve:
This matrix features a flatter emergence profile curvature than the Blue Evolve but is not as flat as the Pink Evolve matrix. The Orange Evolve Matrix is colour-coded to be easily seen, features a flatter emergence profile curvature, and comes in three heights to provide an ideal fit.
Orange Evolve was created for instances where the Blue Evolve Matrix or Biofit HD Matrix would invert.
This commonly occurs between maxillary 1st and 2nd molars.
Used For:
•Teeth with root proximity
•Flat teeth
The root proximity often causes a normal sectional matrix to invert occluso-gingivally and buccal-lingualy.
Orange Evolve’s shape is a middle ground between the blue, which is very curvaceous, and pink, which is our flattest posterior matrix.
Pink Evolve:
Commonly used between maxillary 1st and 2nd molars in cases of broad teeth, tight root proximity, or very flat teeth. Often referred to as the Broad Flat Molar Matrix. The Pink Evolve Matrix is colour-coded to be easily seen, features a broad emergence profile curvature, and comes in three heights to provide an ideal fit.
Pink Evolve was created for instances where the Blue Evolve Matrix, Biofit HD Matrix, or Orange Evolve Matrix would invert. This commonly occurs between maxillary 1st and 2nd molars.
Used For:
•Very Broad teeth
•Teeth with extreme root proximity
•Very flat teeth
The interproximal of the 1st and 2nd maxillary molars is often much wider buccal-lingually than any other embrasure areas. This can cause a traditional sectional matrix to invert buccal-lingually. The root proximity often causes a normal sectional matrix to invert occluso-gingivally and buccal-lingualy.
Pink Evolve’s shape is our flattest posterior matrix.
Dual Color Disclosing Solution

TruContact Saws and Sanders
Contact optimization is an essential part of the Bioclear Method. Natural contacts are generally too tight and too rough to allow insertion of a mylar matrix. Bioclear TruContact Saws and Sanders are designed to work in sequence to lighten the contact which then improves the ease of placement of the mylar matrices. As an additional advantage, the TruContact also removes biofilm from the contact
Cleaning & Sterilization
1. BT Gauges and TrueContact Saws and Sanders are reusable and autoclavable. Wash with soap and water using a soft brush to remove debris
Note: Do NOT use sprays/wipes, this could damage the BT Gauge.
2. Sterilize using steam sterilizers only on the regular cycle
Note: Temperature of sterilizer should NOT exceed 270° F/132° C
360° Veneer Matrix Series-The next generation of the Bioclear Matrix is significantly stiffer
The Bioclear Veneering Matrix is 75 μm and is as strong as stainless steel . It comes in kit with a paired 2-part (mesial and distal) matrix that snaps around anterior teeth to allow easier reconstruction of teeth when no diastemas or large black triangles are present.
Heated composite is injected into the forms once the tooth has been prepared. Preparation of the tooth involves removal of biofilm, lightly sanding the contacts with True Contact sanders, and removing any decay and/or old restorative material. There are several unique advantages to both the patient and the clinician
The Bioclear 360° Veneer comes as a 6 tooth kit with 12 matrices that are specially designed to create a 2 part form around the tooth by using both mesial and distal abutting matrices.
This form creates a mold around the tooth, sealing the gingival margins and enabling heated composite resin to completely envelop the tooth with an impressively durable, solid, pearlescent shell of composite. That monolithic, solid shell with the Mylar finish eliminates all of the inherent weaknesses of hand layered, free form, or indirect, putty matrix techniques of the past

Bioclear Anterior Matrices Mini Kit-Modern matrix system for esthetic restorations
The Bioclear Matrix’s anatomic shape allows for predictable restoration or change of a tooth’s emergence profile. If there is a good contact, the matrix is easily used wedge-free. When placed into the sulcus, the matrix is stabilized and marginally sealed by the papilla. If there is not a contact, then a staged wedging (or delayed wedging) technique will need to be used.
Bioclear’s anatomically shaped matrices allow for injection/placement of composite into the embrasure without fear of leaving an overhanging margin. The Bioclear Matrix leaves the interproximal composite smooth and properly contoured
Getting started
Bioclear Matrix is the only completely clear anatomic sectional matrix on the market. It, along with the other Bioclear products, will produce the smoothest embrasures and strongest contacts compared to other matrix systems. The high-quality restorations created with the Bioclear Matrix are raising the bar for anterior composites.
Please thoroughly read the instructions and product care guide before use.
Diastema Closure
The Diastema Closure matrices are for creating new and exaggerated emergence profiles, closing diastema larger than 1mm and for large black triangles. The Diastema Closure matrices have more curvature than the Anterior matrices. Combining papilla regeneration with space closure is the key to optimal diastema closure.
Anterior matrices
BioClear Anterior matrices allow for a modern approach to composite dentistry. They have less curvature than the Diastema Closure matrices and are used for everyday restorative dentistry as well as in aesthetic treatments where small spaces need to be filled.
Biofit HD Posterior Mini Kit-Matrix system for posterior Class II restorations
The Biofit HD Posterior Mini Kit contains a range of Biofit HD Matrices Molar 4.5mm, 5.5mm and 6.5mm (appropriate for 75% of posterior molar cases) pre molar 5.5mm and also includes Diamond Wedges (which have strong separation yet require less effort to place than traditional wedges)
Biofit HD Series
The HD series Bioclear Biofit matrices introduce new matrix technology and designs that ensure ideal tooth contours and a heavier material that ensures easier placement
The HD series Bioclear Biofit matrices introduce new matrix technology and designs that ensure ideal tooth contours. Formed with translucent white 75µ mylar, the stiffer mylar and placement tab provide a rigid structure that makes the matrix easy to place.
The translucence of the mylar allows ample light to pass through for thorough light curing. Mylar matrices also leave the composite more polished and contoured than traditional metal matrices which leave a more matte finish.
In addition, the new shape of the Biofit matrices offers 30% more buccal/lingual and occlusal wrap than traditional matrices and will be appropriate for 75% of all posterior molar cases.
The new Biofit HD matrices come in four sizes; Molar 4.5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6.5 mm, and Pre-Molar 5.5 mm
Diamond Wedges and Long Diamond Wedges
The Bioclear Diamond Wedge is designed to solve many of the difficulties in using traditional, rigid wedges.
The Diamond Wedge requires less effort to place than traditional wedges due to the diamond-shaped cut-out in the tip, which collapses during insertion. The wedge then springs open once through the embrasure, creating a tight seal and preventing the wedge from backing out.
While still maintaining strong tooth separation, the flexibility of the Diamond Wedge creates an excellent marginal adaptation that eliminates the uncontrolled flow of excess composite and minimizes clean-up after the composite has been cured.
The Diamond Wedge is offered in both original and long. The Original Diamond Wedge is intended for most cases. The Long Diamond Wedge is approximately 2mm longer than the original wedge and is intended to be used when working on wider molars. Typically long wedges are used in conjunction with the Pink or Orange Evolve matrices
Clinical Tips
1. Used with a rubber dam
2. Choose the correct matrix – Use a Bioclear clear matrix for simultaneous buccal & lingual curing
3. Use Bioclear Forceps, as designed specifically for the Twin Ring
4. Check for proper matrix orientation
5. Seat deep into sulcus Use the MATRIX SELECTION GUIDE on the back of the instructions to help select the appropriate matrix.
6. Use Bioclear Forceps with the Twin Ring. The Bioclear Forceps are specifically designed for safely and securely opening and placing the Twin Ring.
7. Ensure that the tines of the forceps are completely engaged with the plastic handles of the Twin Ring (see below). If they are not fully engaged or if the tines are seated on the metal, then it can cause the Twin Ring to break.
TwinRing - For Class II Matrix Adaptation
The TwinRing is designed for use in sectional Class II matrix adaptation and can be used with any matrix. The unique design allows the TwinRing to adapt to a variety of tooth types and shapes. The geometry of the ring causes it to apply a strong, even tension that:
- Assists in the separation of the teeth
- Creates a strong seal with the matrix without collapsing the matrix into the cavity
- Doesn’t allow the composite to flow past the gingival margin which eliminates line angle overhangs.
The structural design of the TwinRing causes it to have excellent form memory; it is guaranteed to retain its original shape without warping, even after hundreds of uses.

Ionosit Baseliner for Gap-free restorations
Create gap-free restorations Ionosit Baseliner prevents micro-gaps, the leading cause of microleakage, before they happen. It’s a fact of life that composites undergo polymerization shrinkage.
We rely on adhesives to maintain a strong gap free bond between composite and dentin, but that doesn’t always happen.
Ionosit Baseliner employs patented controlled expansion technology to reduce the post-polymerization stress which leads to leakage, post-op sensitivity and recurrent decay.
Functionality
Ionosit Baseliner combines the optimum properties of glass ionomers and composites in one material. It expands by approximately 1% and counteracts the polymerization shrinkage stress of the shrunken composite. This efficiently prevents the formation of marginal gaps and associated bacterial penetration.
The dentinal tubules are sealed and the pulp is protected from bacterial influences, which is a reliable and permanent means of preventing pulp damage and postoperative sensitivity.
Ionosit Baseliner serves as a stress-breaker for the entire cavity as it counteracts the polymerization shrinkage of the restoration. Structural stress or microfractures in the composite are minimized.
This guarantees durable, functionally reliable restorations.
Protection
Ionosit Baseliner is applied in a layer of 1mm thickness between dentin and composite.
It releases fluoride and zinc ions to provide protection at the junction between the tooth surface and the restoration, a particularly vulnerable area. The release of these substances forms a protective barrier for the tooth.
Ionosit Baseliner can be easily applied directly from the syringe.
Dentin interaction
Ionosit Baseliner is capable of controlled expansion. Thanks to its innovative chemistry, it also forms a connection to dentin, creating a reaction zone. The crucial advantage: possible gaps created by polymerization shrinkage of the composite material are negated and stress on the dentin interface is reduced.
Feature & Benefits
Unique compensation for polymerization shrinkage stress through controlled expansion• Fluoride release
• Antibacterial properties from zinc
• No complicated handmixing
• Protects the pulp
• Seals the dentin tubules
• Prevents postoperative sensitivity
• Radiopaque
• Low flexural modulus for increased stress reduction

Constic is a self-etching, self-adhesive, radiopaque, flowable composite which is light cured.
The composite is immediately ready for use because the preparatory steps of etching, priming and bonding are contained in Constic.
Self-adhesion: sophisticated science, simple handling.
Reliable adhesion without other materials: no easy task for a composite. Typically, this requires special bonding molecules, like those in Constic. Based on successful bonding systems, molecules were developed that can etch enamel and dentine, bond with them like a glass ionomer, and also co-polymerize with the composite. The self-neutralizing acid groups then react with the moist enamel and dentin, forming a durable tooth-like chemical bond.
The new 3-in-1 flow combines etching gel, bonding agent and flowable composite in one single product. You thus save treatment steps – and thereby benefit from increased safety during application.
Secure bonding, scientifically proven.
The shear bond strengths measured in a study by C. A. Munoz-Viveros at the State University of New York at Buffalo* demonstrate very good results for Constic on enamel and dentin. The bond strength values for Constic exceed those of the other self-etching, self-adhesive flowable composites tested in the study.
Constic reaches very good results both on enamel and dentin compared to regular flowables bonded with an adhesive. There are no significant differences in this respect.
Noteworthy: Constic achieves roughly the same good adhesion values on enamel and dentine. These are clearly different in the self-adhesive competitors.
Simple application, great impact.
Etching, bonding, filling in one step. This saves time and money – and minimizes potential sources of mistakes. Furthermore, self-etching, self-adhesive Constic ensures a reduction of postoperative sensitivities. The cone-shaped brush, DMG’s »Clip-on brush«, makes even deep fissures easier to reach.
